Terms and Conditions

By accessing or using Fixio (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You also agree to our Privacy practices and any posted policies, which are incorporated by reference.

Fixio helps car owners find, compare, and schedule visits with mechanics based on filters such as service category and car brand. The app presents nearby mechanics on a map with profiles, contact options, and directions. Fixio is a discovery and navigation tool; we do not provide automotive services and we do not control the quality, timing, pricing, or legality of services performed by mechanics.

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, if higher) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have authority to agree to these Terms.

Some features require an account and sign‑in (e.g., with Google). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. If you believe your account is compromised, notify us promptly. We may place reasonable limits on account creation, access, or usage to protect the Service and users.

We strive to present relevant mechanics using your selected filters (e.g., Engine & Transmission, Electrical & Battery, Car Washes; car brands like Toyota or Mercedes‑Benz). Results may vary based on availability, data sources, location accuracy, and other factors. We do not guarantee that a particular mechanic will meet your needs, be available, or be the “best” option.

Mechanic listings may include names, logos, services offered, ratings/reviews, and contact options. Content can be provided by the mechanic, third‑party sources, or users and may change over time. Fixio does not endorse any mechanic. You should independently evaluate qualifications, insurance, certifications, and pricing before booking.

The Service uses mapping and navigation features (including dark‑style maps and on‑map directions). Location data and routing are estimates and may be inaccurate, delayed, or unavailable. Always follow posted road signs and local laws, keep your attention on driving, and use the Service responsibly. We may also provide an option to open routes in Google Maps or similar third‑party apps.

At this time, Fixio does not process payments; any payments or bookings you make are between you and the mechanic. The terms, warranties, and refund policies for those services are set by the mechanic. Fixio is not a party to those transactions and does not handle disputes between you and a mechanic.

If the Service allows ratings, reviews, photos, or other user content, you are solely responsible for what you post. Do not post unlawful, misleading, defamatory, or infringing content. By submitting content, you grant Fixio a non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free license to host, store, display, and reproduce that content in connection with the Service. We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

Use the Service lawfully and respectfully. Do not: (a) access or use the Service for any illegal purpose; (b) attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service; (c) reverse engineer or scrape without permission; (d) upload malware; (e) impersonate others; or (f) use the Service while operating a vehicle in a manner that distracts from safe driving.

The Service, including its design (e.g., glassmorphism UI, icons, logos, and other brand elements), text, graphics, and code, is owned by Fixio or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service.

The Service may link to or integrate with third‑party products (e.g., Google Maps). Those products are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Fixio is not responsible for third‑party sites, apps, or services, and your use of them is at your own risk.

Your use of the Service may involve sharing approximate location, search inputs, and device information necessary to provide features like map‑based results. We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy practices. Please review them to understand what we collect, why, and how we use it.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON‑INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT RESULTS WILL BE ACCURATE, RELIABLE, OR AVAILABLE AT ANY PARTICULAR TIME.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FIXIO AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM—WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Fixio from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service at any time. Some provisions, by their nature, survive termination (e.g., intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity).

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice (e.g., by updating the “Effective” date, in‑app notice, or email if available). Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
